These are the Standard Terms and Conditions of supply from HomePage Development's search engine optimisation service and other services offered from time to time on our website at www.hpd.com.au ("the Service"). These terms apply to you ("customer" or "you") as a user of our search engine optimisation services. Please read these terms and conditions carefully. It is a condition of your use of our Services that you comply with these terms and conditions.

• We use and recommend the following search engines and directories -
  Primary engines - Google; Live; MSN; Yahoo.
  Secondary engines - About.com; AllTheWeb; AOL; Anzwers; AskJeeves; Epilot; Excite; HotBot; IWon; Looksmart; Lycos; Overture; Sympatico; Teoma; WebWombat; XtraMSN.
• We must have the necessary FTP access to your website server in order to optimise your website unless otherwise negotiated. Adjustments are nominal and rarely noteworthy and we will work as a team to maintain your original content.
• Submission to all search engines and directories is required and you must agree to put into action our search engine optimisation suggestions.
• Your website must be indexed by Google, or qualify for indexing by Google's guidelines.
• Our optimisation efforts cannot be changed or removed during the guarantee period. If our work is changed or removed for any reason, contact us within 3 days and we will repair it, allowing your guarantee will continue. There will be addition costs involved for this service.
• To achieve the best possible search engine optimisation services, we need to work together as a team. You agree that you will let us know if you make any changes to your pages, especially the home page. You agree to inform us by email of any substantial edits or changes to your site within 3 days of those changes being made. Search engine optimisation fees to restore pages are billed at AUD$125 per hour excluding GST.
• This guarantee is for the ranking positions of your chosen keyword phrases in the major search engines listed above. We are not guaranteeing traffic to your website or profitability from your website.
• Search engine optimisation packages that are not prepaid will be automatically charged monthly to an approved credit card.
• Website re-development is not included in search engine optimisation fees unless specifically included in our proposal.
• Any work performed by you to prepare pages for launch or re-launch shall be carried out in a prompt manner, as time is of the essence to support our guarantee.
• We will not accept projects involving pornography, hate or any website that violates the law and reserve our right to accept or decline any proposed search engine optimisation service.
• We will not violate any guidelines of indexing by any search engine or directory. We will not cloak any pages or hide same colour content on same colour background or otherwise knowingly use spam methods to achieve your ranking outcomes.
• Any of the following actions will void our guarantee –
  • Any website downtime of 7 consecutive days.
  • If our optimisation changes are removed, overwritten or deleted.
  • You make substantial changes to your website without discussing these changes with us beforehand.
